it was busy and hectic but very satisfying. In the morning i helped geraint get ready for the football tournament which went very well, it stayed dry till the last 15 minutes, all the food eaten and the gospel preached.
I then spent the rest of the day with Ione and Dave helping prepare for Ione's party.
My job was chief chopper and bottle washer. - I hate washing up when its my own but when it is other peoples its really satisfying.
We made lots of yummy food, that smelt absolutely gorgeous, Dave taught me that Moroccan food isn't that hard too cook - just time consuming - i might have to borrow a few recipes.
I had a great day with them , thanks guys for letting me help.

they are all nicked from iones blog (thanks ione - i decided that as i had helped made some of them i could have the pictures!!)
saffron panacota (very yummy) - i helped chop the fruit - and segment grapefruit and orange - that's hard work!
Pistiatio Cheesecake - I'm not a great fan of pistachio's but this is yummy.
These are to die for - orange, almond and lavender cakes - yummy yummy yummy, the chocolate red devil ones were great too.
Bread salad
beetroot and pistachio salad - i made this!
Avacado salad - i did this too!!
there were lots of lovely dishes including chicken and kebabs and lamb stew and flat breads and it was yummy yummy yummy.
Dave you are a fantastic cook - thanks for being a brilliant husband to Ione and cooking for all her Friends. - can we do it next year?
