On a lighter note

My mum is 70 and for her birthday she got a nintendo DS. and at the weekend she brought a new puzzle game, she phoned yesterday to see if i could help her with a puzzle - after spending an hour on the phone and me sat with various object to imitate the puzzle to help me we still could not complete it so here is a little puzzle for you...

You have 3 wolves and 3 chickens on 1 side of the river, they all need to get saftley to the other side using a raft.
no more than 2 animals can go on the raft at any one time. There has to be one animal on the raft to make it move.

You can't leave chickens with an equal number or more wolves otherwise the wolves eat the chickens.

How do you get them all across the river with out the chickens being eaten?

Mum and I have spent many hours trying to work this out and mum eventually solved it late last night - can you?
