wednesday fun

This wednesday, Joy brought ioan and carys up for the day, well they came tuesday night and went thursday morning. It was great to see them all and have some time to play and do fun things with them.

We went to trentham gardens for the day as i thought this might be a relativly cheep day out ( how wrong was I) but we had lots of fun.

We went in to the italian gardens and wandered round all the gardens. we liked the ones designed by the school children the best. i can't believe how huge some of the flowers were

We played on the adventure playground and even though carys wasn't 8 she still played on the older bit ( we got told off by another mum!) and i can't undertand why they wouled get such enjoyment jumping off something so high.

we went in the maze and enjoyed talking to one another though the long tubes - that is so clever.

We went on the barfuss - what a weird thing to do - we walked bare foot though mud and water and over sand and grael and stones ( why would they think you would enjoy walking over stones - it hurt lots!)

We went on the train and the boat and to see the monkeys and they let us all out of the monkey enclosure (even me!)

we had a great day out and were all absolutly shattered - i was put to bed with the children.
