If you are cosidering being self employed - my advice to you is - DON'T DO IT.
The worst bit of it is keeping accounts and doing tax returns.
I have spent today doing geraints TAx return for last 07-08 - i feel quite pleased that i have done it as its not due until 31st Jan 09 but i wanted to sort out what we stil owed.
I got a bit of a shock when it was telling me we had to pay over £1300 by january but have just reaslied after a few fraught hours that this does not include the paymetns we have already made, so we actually owe very little. - Hurray, i can chill now.
I'm off to buy a pair of trousers for work.
