Camping

for geraints birthday he had a new tent. We spent the weekend before his birthday tent shopping and brought a huge 6 man tent !!

there are 4 of us (us and 2 dogs)

Anyway bank holiday wee end after a quick visit from Joy (geraints mum) to have a meal and see the kitchen we went to Cricieth

We left Saturday morning and got to the camp site.

the tent went up really easily and it wasn't raining which was great.

the camp site was very basic, with the only hot water being in the showers which you had to pay 20p for!

We cooked our food on the little camping stove and slept really well - apart from buddy barking most of night at all the strange noises. We had a BBq and ate really well, we ate by candlelight and kept warm with the stove and blankets.

It was really wet in the night but the days were lovely and we spent most of or time walking the beech with the dogs - my favourite activity. it was really relaxing and great to be away from all the stresses of home.

We went to church on the Sunday and geraint knew the pastor, Ben Thomas, from when he was young.

It was sad to come home and i have said we Will go camping again - maybe for longer than 2 nights!!
