What a fab day.

yesterday was GREAT GREAT GREAT. i had an amazing day.



I started the day early and still didn't get everything i wanted done - but that didn't matter,


i found a new cake shop - not as good as the one in Crewe but it still had most things i wanted to finish the Christmas cakes - they are now iced but still waiting to be decorated. - apart from my red Christmas colour is more Pink and i'm still covered in red dye!


i went and picked up geraints Christmas present from the post office which is in one piece thanks to great packaging.

I never got round to making mince pies or biscuits or soup - but more fun left for another day! i think i am going to try the recipe from a friends new blog if she posts the recipe (hint hint)- thanks pippinsmum. - she is a pressure cooker fan just like me - it makes making soup and stuff so quick - i love mine apart from i always overfill it and end up steaming the house out!


Phil Ester and Nic arrived in time for lunch and we spent hours just catching up.



We went to Kinver for a walk - out new favourite forest / national trust walking place - - we even remembered the Dogs leads so we could go and visits the rock houses

i can't wait for the summer, when they are open - the pictures look amazing.

We enjoyed our walk, met lots of friendly people who helped us when we were lost (again), the dogs were properly exhausted and have found a new dog grooming place.

We stopped at a coffee shop on the way home for tea and teacakes and we ended our day with friends with Christmas dinner and crackers and fun before Phil, ester and Nic went home

The evening was finished off with the strictly final - which was great - Chris and Ola deserved to win even if they weren't the best dancers! they were really entertaining.

just as I was heading for bed absolutely shattered and almost asleep. geraint announces that its snowing and everything is white so we head out to our local dog walking field for an extra treat. buddy got to do snow dog angels - he loves rolling in the snow, Thimble got to chase balls that became invisible when they landed, and geraint and I got to make a snowman and have a snowball fight!!

What a day - one to remember!
