a bit of time.....

to blog.

well life has been a bit manic recently and i don't feel i have had time to even do the shortest of blogs. but today with an evening home alone, i have time to share the ups and downs and excitements of the last few weeks.

so here goes:

Easter in Bath. - i stayed with Helen - thanks, and spent the days at mum's where Andrew, Karen and James were staying, i had great fun playing with my little nephew and we got up to all sorts of mischief. skittles, cricket, Easter egg hunts, Easter basket making, Easter mask making, painting to name a few. The evenings i spent with Helen and family and it was good to catch up and spend some time with them. I learnt to knit!! and sewed a sock monkey for James in the spare time!

Back to reality of work - and extra 10 hours over 2 bank holiday days was not really appreciated but it meant i was up to date with work before finishing to go on holiday for a week and mean ti could relax for a whole week and not worry about what i hadn't got done. - it also gave me a bit more holiday to use thanks to wonderful TOIL.

trip to Crewe - i had a flying visit to crewe - and a pizza hut evening with the girls - it was great to see everyone and catch up with the goings on in crewe and visit the buetican to get my legs waxed and not so good a trip to the estate agent to reduce the price on our house - if anyone knows anyone who wants to buy a house in crewe - we have one going at a bargain.

Dudley Zoo - geraint and i went to visit Dudley zoo - it was a lovely hot sunny day and great to see some animals getting up to mischief. A good start to our Holiday.


Via cwmbran - we went on holiday via cwmbran and stayed a couple of nights to drop the dogs of for thier holiday with joy and colin - thank you for having them. we went to the community farm to feed the baby lambs - sooooooo cute - and very yummy with mint jelly!


Word Alive- we then had an amazing few days at word Alive in pewelli. we had a great time and a chance to learn lots and have a chance to focus on gods goodness and love. we also had a great time of fellowship with friends from crewe. - one of the highlights was a trip to the beech and playing in the sea and watching Fiona being dunked by Geoff! - it was defiantly fair though - I'm just glad i got off so lightly! - more later!




Back to work with a big bump - after a lovely relaxing week (apart from the driving ) i have had a nightmare week at work - we have been broken into and had all our laptops stolen and lost some work, I've had several emergencies and all that on top of a busy week after a week off means another day off being worked and several more hours of TOIL.


Geraints Birthday- We fab - he likes his food slicer and he also got bannanagrams and jelly beans from me and money from others. we went to the croked house pub for food - yummy yummy yummy, very yummy and defiantly crocked! - defiantly worth a visit if you are in the area! if you need company to go - let me know!!

we are looking forward to Simon and Becs wedding this weekend.


Geraints CRB still hasn't come and this is getting a bit annoying. but still no nights alone yet - so its ok by me!!
