it didn't travel as well as i hoped and it was a bit humid so the icing wouldn't dry so a slight change of design was required at the last minute but it still looked fab and they loved it - which was the main thing.
I was also really chuffed as the caterers who cut it up and had a little taste said it was one of the best cakes they had ever had and was so well done that it cut up really well.
I cried when it went - a litlle part of me is taken away but i am glad it went well.

It`s gorgeous Izzy and i totally undersatnd what you mean about being upset when something you`ve worked on like that gets cut up. That`s the problem with making a cake good enough to eat.
