cars, buses and MOT

i was sorting paperwork this morning and mananged to look at our MOT - it ran out today.

I manickly got on the phone and phoned round several garages until i found one in stourbridge that could do it today.  It was about a 10 minute drive - that was ok.  but they said i had to leave it for the day and they would fit it in when they could. it would be ready by 4pm

i phoned geraint and told him i couldn't pick him up from work and he would ahve to walk.

i dropped the car off and got the bus home - a walk, a bus, a walk (via the market and a chat to alan, who is an elder of our churches, church plants, plant) another bus and a walk. and the day saver i brought on the first bus wasn't accepted on the 2nd bus - arrgghhhhhhhhhh. 

I have just got home an hour and half later to find a message on my answerphone to say the car has passed its MOT and now i have to do the same route back. i wonder how long it will take me back. - i'm having a sit down to blog my frustrations beore i leave.

At least the car passed. 

what a waste of a day - so much for jam, dessert and cake making. 

If i leave now i can pick geraint up!
