This weekend we have been to Norfolk. Geraint and 4 others have done a parachute jump to raise money for Leonard Cheshire and the residence at the Hill where Geraint works.
We had to go to Norfolk to do it as one of the residence of the home -Bev was doing it and they were one of the few places that would let her do it as she has a disability.
We left Friday night and stayed at a travel inn and had a great evening together.
Saturday morning was up and away with no time to spare.
They were suited out and pared with their tandem jumper - who knew what they were doing. given a quick lesson on what to do. and off they went

up up and away - up to 13000 feet.

They free fell to 5000 (about 50 seconds) and then parachuted the rest of the way ( 6 minutes)

They had to land on their Bums as there was not enough wind for them to land safely.

They all enjoyed it and some would do it again and they were all scared at some point but it was great day
we got home eventually after a trip to A&E to check Bev out - but thankfully she was OK.
They have raised a huge amount of money for the Home and thanks to everyone who has sponsored Geraint.
