well this week has flown by and its hard to tell you what has happened cos not a lot has - I've been really tired after a busy weekend and then had a busy week at work and cleaning (yes I actually did some - but only because Joy and Colin were coming to stay!) The girls at work were horrified this week when i told them that i didn't dust every week and there was NO chance that i would hoover every night EVER in my life. i have much more important and fun things to spend my life doing and I'm defiantly not sorry that i don't. i have made flowers for a wedding cake which everyone says are great but I'm not so sure!
Work has also been busy this week - we had a team building away day on Thursday - it actually wasn't as bad as it sounds. it was good to be able to constructively share our frustrations and try and work through some of them and see where the CAB is heading in the next few years - I was hoping that we may have a bit of stability at work just to get used to all the recent changes but it looks like it will forever be 'all change please' and 'how do we do that this week?' but i guess that's life when you work for people and have funding that is precarious but it keeps us busy.
i have also found out this week that i have a new line manager - which is great in some ways but not in others - Paul the BIG manager was it but he doesn't have time to do it properly and never has time to sort out issues, now its Jason, our deputy manager, whom i get on well with and understands the issues a bit better but he also doesn't have time but will make time and will challenge me and make me do things that keep getting put to one side cos there is too much else to do. - so the next few month Will Be busy and interesting.
