Sunday was a pretty normal Sunday with church and rest - defiantly what was needed after such a long walk on Saturday and several aching bones! Its been a good few days with Colin and Joy - seeing them settling into their new home, they have started decorating and doing a few jobs around the house.
however I'm slightly concerned for Joy - they have just brought a new house, and since then they have had new bed and curtains and several other lovely things for the new house but her favourite thing she has brought recently is her new mop to clean the laminate flooring! But i am defiantly pleased to have them as in-laws as there are not many who would put up with us and the dogs for more than a few days and have buckets and spades to lend their crazy daughter-in-law for her to visit the beech!
Today we have been to the beech....
We arrived and the tide was in... so we went for a walk up the cliffs - buddy was in his element having several places to run and explore.
After a break for lunch - the tide was still in so we went rock climbing, with geraint and thimble enjoying the heights of the rocks and me and buddy struggling behind!
eventually the sea went out and we got to the beech,
Buddy hated being wet and cried and had to be carried,
Izzy got to make a sandcastle
and get wet in the water
and we finished the day with a lovely sunset before heading home tired and satisfied after a lovely day at southerndown
