Its my birthday next week and we are off to London for 2 days (1 night). We are going to see sister act - the musical at the theatre and are staying overnight. but we don't know what else to do (ratter we can't choose) - there is too much choice of things to do for the day.
What would you do, where would you go? where would you eat?
any suggestions? do you like London or do you think I'm mad - i can't wait!

Afternoon tea at one of the posh hotels, if they are not all booked. we had it at Claridges. There are plenty of museums, the V&A, the museum of the moving image (cinema and tv), Science museum, Covent garden transport museum, British museum, and then there's Oxford Street with shops and more shops. Or Covent Garden shops or Regents Park zoo. Depends on how much you want to spend.
I love a day out in London too. I`d try and find some off the beaten track little coffee shops and eateries, the British Museum, catch a more obscure film in one of the many cinemas, definitely Covent Garden just to watch the performances, hang out in the book shop area of the city for hours, and take a walk in one of the parks - my favourite being Greenwich. Look forward to seeing you x
