cup cakes?

well sort of

i have a friend coming this morning so who needs a better reason to make cake.

i tried this recipe: hummingbird chocolate cup cakes.

I'm not sure they turned out exactly right.  but that may be due to me not having cake cases. they kind of sunk abit when i took them out the oven, fell apart when i took them out the tray and had to stick them together with icing!! they generally look a mess but taste yummy!!
