Cornwall!!
I'm sure i hear you all say - you were going to sicily for a week, well yes we were but we didn't quite make it that far, so cornwall (camelford) became our home for a week.
It started out like those nightmare holiday programmes. - I got home from work on Friday night after a very long week being very busy, we had tea and then i decided it was really time to start packing. Mum was here and had finished the washing and done some ironing and cleaned my kitchen (I honestly don't ask her to do it) so all that was left to do was pack.
Geraint got the suitcases out the wardrobes and I went to print all the tickets and car info off the computer and find our passports - Geraints was new so it was out but mine was nowhere to be seen. 6 hours later we had cleaned the house and moved every piece of furniture and every item we own - the bathroom cupboard, the bedrooms, the games boxes, the bookshelves, the kitchen cuboards, behind the sofa - to try and find it - we even went to my work at 1 am to try to find it but it was no where to be seen.
I had it about 4 weeks ago to fill out part of a CRB check and verify someones identity, it didn't leave the house and i'm sure it went back in the filing cabnit. Now you all know i'm not the most organsed person or the most tidy but I had a huge clearout not so long ago and everythig is where it is meant to be and you really should see my filing cabnit - i'm not even that organised at work!! - i even impress myself with it.
But the passport still remains lost and we are sure that there will be a reason to it, - last saturday we definatly could not understand but things have come to light a bit more now but ore of that later - i'm off to apply for another passport as we go to sicily in 7 weeks - i fact in 7 weeks i will have been there 24 hours - we changed the flights and the car booking and the insurance and go in November for our wedding anniversary - We have accused mum of hiding the passport as she now gets 2 different weeks holiday with us rather than just one but she assures us that it is not true.
