work work work

I'm shattered and i just want to sleep. life has been a bit hectic this week and I've been glad for a few extra hours in bed today. I knew i was really tired when i woke at 10 am yesterday and felt like i needed another weeks sleep

Work is manic but after a marathon session of 11 1/2 hours till 8.30 at night i am a bit more up to date with my work and should be able to go on holiday next week. i was finding i was really stressed and when i was taking it out on everyone else i decided enough was enough and a marathon session was defiantly worth it. it now off my desk and in the admin tray to sort out. - sorry D and F

i don't talk much about work so lets fill you in

I'm in charge of the Money advice unit. There are six of us who work in an open plan office:

D and F are our very hard working admin staff who get to do all our data entry and letter typing and so much more than they should, they both work so hard and a huge stars that i defiantly wouldn't cope without them.

TA is a caseworker and is brilliant she is hard working, good at her job, she doesn't leave anything untouched, everything is always in the right place and soooo organised (sometimes I don't like her cos she is so good) Her desk is always clear and i love to sit at her desk ( which she hates - sorry) cos there is always everything you need.

DJ is also a caseworker, she has a manic life with 3 children, husband and 2 dogs and still manges to work full time and smile. she is also great at her job and although she has only been doing it for a few years, she is brilliant at it, she lightens up the office with her fears of napkins, mice ( who frequent our offices quite often) and many more.

MB is the last and defiantly the unforgettable, he is a chocolate eating and biscuit eating softy, he is the only male in a room with 5 woman and copes remarkably, but he wouldn't have it any other way. He has just become a granddad and it sooooo proud.

the only other person who frequents our office regualrily is JB - He is my mananger - although he usually is looking for biscuits or just poping in to say Hi. He was only given this role about 6 months ago after PN decided he didn't have time for it, I'm sure i stress him out and this week i definatly did his head in cos i was so stressed, He is good at his job and certainly has far to much to do and too many things to manage, he is a diabetic too and is alwasy good for some advice for me and if you ever need to know an answer to a strange question he is the one who knows strange facts.

They can all stress me out but i also wouldn't be without them, I'm not sure how they would describe me - disorganised and messy would defiantly come into it - I'm sure.

We all see lots of people who struggle with their debts and unable to make ends meet and we try and help them out and find a solution to their difficulties, It's great to be able to help people who struggle and see them work through the difficulties and hopefully get out of their very dark tunnel or at least see some light far off in the distance. But sometimes i wish they would produce less post and messages and we often say that life would be much similar if we didn't have clients but we really would not be without them either.
